Oahu Shores

Oahu is a more differentiated (think eroded) island by comparison to the actively volcanic Big Island of Hawaii, featuring many types of shoreline, from the rugged rocky north shore to the wide sandy beaches of the south and east so popular with bathers. The north shore also features periods of very large ocean waves attracting surfers from all over the planet to test their skill. There are also quiet bays, home to marinas and sailing activities. This image features the rocky north shore with pounding surf.
