Great Blue Heron Relaxing

This Great Blue Heron was basking in the sun on a cool early spring day at Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge in Washington State. He is standing on one leg (the right) with his left foot barely visible tucked up under his belly. Must have been a good morning of fishing!
